JKB Interiors is a full service interior design firm specializing in design & build installations, as well as new builds in residential & commercial applications.

JKB Interiors is co-owned by Wendy Greenwald & Melissa Solano, 2 working mothers with more than 40 years combined experience in building, design & decor projects in Costa Rica. They share a passion for travel, cooking, entertaining, & learning about new ways to create beautiful spaces.

After years of developing residential projects of her own in Costa Rica & running a window treatment & furnishing company, Wendy saw a need for a more technical approach to remodeling amidst the area’s vast catalogue of aging real estate. Affiliating with the National Kitchen & Bath Association as well as the American Society of Interior Designers, JKB Interiors has established a team of local trusted tradesmen & women to continue this journey of interior design excellence in the Central Pacific area. In 2021, they expanded the area to include projects in the Florida Keys (US) & in 2023 expanded again to Guanacaste (CR).

Today the firm’s offerings have grown to include an extensive line of furnishings, lighting fixtures & accessories to compliment their projects. From concept to completion, JKB offers a process that assists our clients in creating beautiful sanctuary-like spaces adapted for the tropics.

Wendy & Melissa continue to travel & participate in continuing education while expanding their network of trades & product lines to offer an enormous array of original furnishings & possibilities for their clients.
